Summary: 'Him… but why would the darkness be after him?' Yunho hissed
'Him… but why would the darkness be after him?' Yunho hissed the boy wasn't even pretty; he had nothing on jaejoong for sure. What was so special about him for the darkness to attack him and imprison the rest of the villagers?
'Before we came to your world the darkness had taken everyone's powers, even the normal wizards. It made them think that by killing the royals they will get their magic back' changmin hissed ' it just wants to collect magic, I don't think it matters whose magic it's stealing'
'I think there is something else' jaejoong whispered softly
Junsu nodded, the two of them kept looking at the boy. Something was strange about him. He looked just as innocent as kibum is
'Are…are you sure he's a wizard?' junsu whispered, a frown on his face
'He got magic in his veins' changmin frowned
'It doesn't make him a wizard, he could be a slave' Kyuhyun frowned
'Are you thinking about something baby?' yoochun whispered as he saw how junsu looked around at the chairs
Junsu pouted and didn't answer, he looked around, not moving a single chair but looking, there were chairs of every type and shape, just like the figures in the previous hut
'I…' junsu looked outside the hut, to the broke flower and spoke again ' I think there's a hut filled with flowers around here'
'A flower filled hut?' yunho blinked, why did they need a flower filled hut? They just needed to wake this boy up and make him beat the darkness
'Do you want to find it?' yoochun whispered, holding junsu tightly in his arms
Junsu nodded and looked back at the first hut they went into, he held on yoochun's hand and they began walking once again out of this hut and toward the one with the old woman inside
'Baby?' yoochun blinked as they all followed junsu
'Flower' junsu whispered ' look for a flower'
No one questioned, they just began walking around the hut and searching all around for a flower. But there was none, the garden around the hut was all dry and weeds were everywhere, there were no flowers around, not even a single one
Jaejoong gave up on looking for a flower in the garden and walked into the hut, he thought that maybe, just maybe he will be able to find it inside, he had a feeling that it could be inside
Entering the house jaejoong froze at once, looking around, his eyes widened as he saw something missing, something important missing
'Yunie~' he called out, his voice trembling and shaking, so low it was barely audible
Still, somehow this low whisper reached the right ears and yunho ran into the hut followed by the others
'Jae, what happened?' he rushed to his lover
'She's gone' jaejoong whispered, everyone looked around, and sure enough the old lady was nowhere in sight, she just vanished
'She was fainting, how could she vanish? She couldn't have just stood up and left' yunho frowned
Junsu wasn't hearing the others, by now he walked around the figures, looking at them, searching between them, searching for something he was sure was there
'Chunie!!' junsu called at once and everyone rushed to him
Junsu, unlike what everyone expected, wasn't pointing at any figure or anything, he was pointing at an empty space between some figures, a serious frown on his face
'There's nothing here baby' yoochun frowned
'But there used to be something' junsu whispered ' look at the dust edges, there used to be a small squared figure here but now it's gone'
'And it was just recently removed as well' changmin frowned ' someone just took it'
'The old lady' jaejoong whispered
'Yea, it's most likely her, but why would…?' yunho began
'No!' jaejoong almost yelled ' the old lady!!' he pointed out and shivered, eyes opened wide in horror
Everyone turned to look at jaejoong once again; he was giving them his back and standing by the doorway looking outside the hut. Reaching him they all looked to see the old lady, but she wasn't fainting anymore, she was tall and walking toward them, blood stains around her mouth
'What…?' kibum began, he walked backward hiding behind changmin. He felt bad now, he felt so bad. Something inside him was telling him to run and hide, that the thing was after him for sure
Suddenly the old woman dropped to her walk on her hands and legs, she looked straight at them and fangs appeared in her mouth, slowly she began to shed her skin like a leaf falling from a tea in the autumn and black, rubber-like skin replaced it, she wasn't human anymore, she was some sort of a monster with long, sharp claws, two bloody red eyes, huge mouth and a snake like nose, her face was somehow like a dog's face and she had white fur on the top of her head where hair used to be
'A snatcher!' changmin yelled ' kibum stay behind!'
'What's a snatcher?' yoochun yelled as the thing rushed to them, ready to attack
'It's a creature, a dark one; it feeds on slaves and eats their magic to survive, but I never knew it could change shapes like that' Kyuhyun hissed
'Maybe the darkness gave it some more powers' yoochun hissed. He, yunho, Kyuhyun and changmin stood in the front, blocking the hut's entrance for this snatcher whatever
'How do we fight it?' yunho hissed, looking around for any kind of weapon but finding none
'Snatcher's weakness is their noses; we must break the bones of the nose to weaken it before we kill it' changmin hissed already preparing spells in his mind
'And how will we reach there?' yoochun hissed, almost in a mocking tone
Junsu stood behind; he saw the creature run toward his lover and friends. He saw it try to jump above them but fail, he jumped onto Kyuhyun but changmin rushed to throw it away using a spell, it didn't work on that well thought, because the next second the thing was up on its legs and fighting them again, going after yunho and yoochun
Junsu saw as Kyuhyun and changmin used spells and yoochun and yunho threw figures at the thing, all trying to hit his nose, but as it was moving it was pretty hard to get a well aimed shot
Suddenly the creature launched toward yoochun, he was battling changmin but suddenly changed its mind and rushed to the not expecting yoochun. It jumped on him and sank its claws in his shoulder. Yoochun yelled in pain as blood oozed out of his wound
Unable to take it anymore junsu was about to yell, to scream. He wanted to rush to the thing and throw it off his lover. He wanted to heal yoochun's wounds somehow and make sure he was safe. He wanted to stop this fight now, before anyone gets hurt.
As his heart was filled with those ideas junsu felt something burning in his pocket, he reached to take out the necklace and looked at it, he knew what to do at once and yelled his best hope to the heaves as he voiced the spell:'
O mystic key that hides the gods true might
Hear my plea and upon us spread your light
Release the powers and make us shine bright
As the four gods united shall win any fight
Unleash…'
Light shun out of the necklace and straight to the four of them, it was so bright to look that everyone had to close their eyes. When they opened them again nothing had changed, well expect that yoochun had managed to through the think away from him and wasn't on the floor anymore he was standing tall beside yunho
The beast launched at them once again but this time yunho and yoochun didn't run sideway to avoid it, with a light kick to the ground they both flew into the air, above the thing
'Can you feel it?' yunho hissed and yoochun nodded. Both of them smirked and closed their eyes, feeling the energy build up inside of them, rushing from all over their bodies to the tips of their fingers, and just like that spells from shot from their hands toward the beast
Both spells hit the thing right in the face making sure that not only his nose bones but every single bone in his face cracked. As it fell on the ground roaring in pain changmin's and Kyuhyun's spells hit it and it rose into the sky, with a loud explosion it vanished and smoke appeared in front of him as a small pile of ashes fell into the ground
'Bummie?' changmin rushed to kibum at once, hugging him and calming him down. Junsu rushed to yoochun checking on his wound and making sure he was alright, jaejoong rushed to his lover at once as well and the poor prince stood alone pouting and watching the rest hugging and sweet talking
A few minutes later, as changmin finished applying a healing charm on yoochun's shoulder Kyuhyun spoke again:' but when it appeared, wasn't there blood on its fangs?'
Everyone's eyes widened, they looked as if they were slapped in the face as they began to run to the other hut at once, hoping that they weren't late, hoping that they didn't just win a battle to lose another…
