Telephone conversation
I had an exam this morning.
When the exam was over, my mother phoned.
Mum: What grade did you get?
Me: How old am I?
Mum: Errmmm.. 22.
Me: ...........MO-O-OM!
Mum: ....24!
Me: I'm gonna hung up on you.
Mom come on, YOU gave birth to me, you should know!
Mum: Yeah I know, but you know I'm old, ok I know how old you are, you're 25!
Me: Yes.
Mum: Happy birthday!!!
Me: Thanks
Mum: So what grade did you get???
Me: ?!?!??! Mum, I asked you: how old am I?
Mum: 25
Me: That's right... Twenty-five! That's why I asked you my age, that's the grade I got.
Mum: Oh......(pause) oh......... I'm so happy for you!
.....Mum's a bit distracted sometimes..............
Anyways, if it was a rule that if you do an exam on your birthday you get a grade which is the same number as your age, shouldn't I wait my 30th birthday to do the others?
