[For the time Eyes has been here, he has managed to avoid making a broadcast over the network and has achieved most of what he knows by asking individuals rather than placing himself at the mercy of the collective whole. The pains he has experienced over the last few days, however, could no longer be ignored; it was nigh time he did this.]

It's top notch. The clinic and the battledome are run by extremely good doctors, and there's no shortage of people that use magic to heal.

To the point that surgery can be performed if needed?

Surgery that can pull you back from the brink of death. I can personally attest to that.

That capable? [Then he really shouldn't be worrying about this, should he?]

That capable. Though I think in that instance they also combine it with magical healing to keep you stable enough to survive the surgery.

Then they still rely on the mechanisms of this world when it comes down to it?

Mechanisms?

I'm referring to the healing methods, relying on the supernatural abilities of others.

The magical healing used in that case didn't come from this world; it was a gift inherent from somewhere else, and in that case I doubt either magic or surgery would have been enough on its own.

I wouldn't think of it as 'relying' so much as 'enhancing', anyway. There are definitely high level surgeons in Luceti who practice without it in most cases.

Could you give me a list of who those surgeons are?

Trafalgar Law runs the battledome. Litchi Faye-Ling runs the clinic. They're both excellent.

[It's a pity McCoy's not still here, but there's not much she can do about that.]

Thank you. Are they both there often throughout the day?

That's right. I think barring experiments and drafts, both of them pretty much work overtime.

Good to know they're dedicated.

Speaking of the drafts [He's been morbidly curious about those.] would you tell me more about them?

Reply

mikangirl December 7 2011, 07:13:42 UTC
Sure. I'm assuming you know the general rundown. Anything specific?

The severity of the fighting, how many have occurred thus far. [Any information would be welcomed.]
