I guess it's time for an update...
But in bullets....
- Despite popular belief... I passed all three of my summer school classes. YAY! I'm done with my general ed!
- Like most of us... I started school last week at Cypress for my Mortuary Science program. Cypress is WAY better than FJC. I can find parking at 8am, they send you the parking permit, there's half as many students AND the students there are sooo much more mature. I'm so glad I never have to go back there again... except for my transcript. This program is going to be A LOT of work, but I'm so excited. I'm enjoying every minute. Even in my Funeral Service Management class I'm having fun, AND THAT'S AN ACCOUNTING CLASS!!
- I had two fun vacations over the summer... one in June for a week with Kevin and his friends at three rivers. We had a blast! We did nothing but laze around the lake all week. I had another small weekend vactation with my family to San Diego to go to Sea World and the San Diego zoo. I love SHAMU!
- Kevin and I are doing great! Were both so busy and don't get much time to see each other but we make do. We both work weekends, I go to school in the morning, he goes to school at night and I work at night and he works in the morning. Needless to say... getting days off are not easy. It's ok though, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger, right?
- Work's going fine at Torrid. Weve hired a new batch of girls that are really wonderful and actually do their job. My year is coming up in a week and I'm hopoing for a good review for an awesome raise. Were all pitching in to get us a mini fridge in the back and someone is going to donate a microwave, which will be really great because it will save me money other than buying food at the mall.
Well, in a very condensed nutshell, that's about it. I've just been having work and school non stop, but it's all good.
