I'm with Jun here. Why don't you follow your desires now, who knows for what's good sometimes. There are always opportunities to use both. Maybe you become a writer and you'll design clothes additionally aside from writing, or the other way around... or who knows maybe you you'll become some a totally different profession, but you can use all this you learned yet! It wouldn't hurt if you're going to let your heart leads you, now. Otherwise maybe you'll regret later, never have given a try what you really wanted to do!
Jesus Christ! And here I thought we had a weird system, it IS pretty brutal to make a 10 year old decide what he wants, when I was 10 I wanted to be a veterinarian, but when I realized you actually have to cut animals open and stuff, I decided againt it x_x
As I was 10, wanna become a baby nurse, and later about 3 or 4 years later, my dream changed to....a car mechanic, hehe! Drastically change, huh? *lol* And in the end I became a taylor, again a complete other direction, I never expected!
