...Heaven smiles... Where have they been spotted?

Inside the museum, and parking garages.

Museum and parking garages...?

...Thank you. That will possibly narrow down the possible places Atoli and I are being held...

And Haseo has his mind set high on a full assault, the child.

I'll leave him to it, to learn from it.

... That's why I don't want him to come. I know I can't stop him.. But at least he's started listening to others...

...You would let him be hurt?

I was going to kill Karasu myself. But now there are too many chefs in the kitchen, so to speak, and one plan running into the other could be disastrous for both. And he cannot be dissuaded. So now I save my skills for later.

Haseo will win, most likely. And yes, he will be hurt. Though he will not yet see the end, I believe.

But he is a child. He is shortsighted, furious, and believes with enough force he can get through anything.

In that mindset, one cannot learn simply by being taught. They must make mistakes, and know what they have done wrong.

...I see.. Yes, he is a child. He's young, he's foolish... And his judgement was clouded by Karasu's taunts... But why can't he learn a lesson without injury...?

When you say... that you will save your skills for later... Do you mean you intend to strike after he is revived? Repeatedly killing him in a world such as this, with different rules revolving around life... How will that help..? Would it not be best to imprison him...?

Because he won't. He refuses to. He has no patience, and his mind is overwhelmed by all the thoughts he has that he won't take the lesson in until something forces it out.

I will kill when necessary. I have the feeling that imprisonment would be little more effective than death here. Perhaps when more about this world comes together.

...You're right... I.. I'm sorry for bothering you with this. I know there's nothing that could stop him now...

The mysteries of this place... Everytime you find more, I grow more interested... I wouldn't be able to find as much as you, but... The answers... The history... I'd like to know more...

More than anything else.. I want to know the mythology.. The beliefs people of this place held... If you find anything about that, I would like to know... Or if you have no interest in legends, but know a way for me to find out on my own, please point me in that direction...?

Originally, I would have simply pointed you towards the library. But all books on the history of Discedo seem to be long gone. Never mind history books on the rest of this world.

For now, though, you have other issues to deal with.

Right... Sorry... I'm just placing faith in him, now... This issue will be resolved...

Another may surface... But for now... I'm not so worried...
