(no subject)
Argggg. We went and got new phones last night since the contract was up and we get free phones. Chuck was all excited about getting a new one, kind of funny since he barely uses his phone anyway. I just remembered that I'll have to enter all of my appointment things from the calendar on the new phone. Since they only transfered over the contacts list and nothing else.
The Carnival comes to town this weekend!! I'm so excited. It totally snuck up on me. Chuck wanted to do the pay one price ride all rides deal but they only do it on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon. Thursday I have rehearsals, and Saturday I'm prepping everyone for the parade since we are marching in it this year. So we'll have to go on Friday and buy some tickets. I've been working on creating a banner for the theater group. I can't believe they don't have a banner. It's just going to be basic things for now, the name of the group and the slogan "over 30 years of community theater". I'll have to decorate it at a later date when I have more time to paint.
I've decided that I'm going to up my job searching. I think this company that I'm working at won't last much longer if they keep the current management staff. Plus it's time for me to move on anyway, been here since January 2006. I still haven't heard from that other job that I interviewed for awhile ago. I'm going to call on that one next week and leave the chick a voicemail. They had another job posted that I thought about applying for but it's Per Diem so you only work as needed and can get anywhere from 0 to 32 hours a week. If I was going to go part time I would need at least a set amount of hours each week. We finally found out the fate of the Homecare department staff. Even though they have worked for this company for 35 years, they didn't even offer them a job with the clinic. Of course that's probably because the Clinic has no money, but still. Poor Maryann is going to have to go start over at a new place after 35 years here. I think she will benefit from it at least pay wise because I at first thought she was going to have to take a pay cut going somewhere else but she told me what her salary is and they pay her diddly squat compared to everyone else. Hell I just started here and I make 2 grand more than her. So if she gets another job, chances are it will definitely be more pay.
I guess I'll have to quit my coffee addiction since that's where I was getting it from hehe, the homecare department. Oh well that's probably a good thing for my body.
My billing coworker is out yet again. She still has no clue what disease she had last week, and now her eye is swollen shut. Joy.
