Ooooooooookay?
All right, everyone ready? About 20-30 minutes ago I picked up the phone when one of my brother's friends called and he started asking me all these questions. One was "Are you *INSERT MY OLDER BROTHER'S NAME HERE* mom?" (I can't get mad at him for that since my dad has problems telling me and my mom apart on the phone) and I said, "No, I'm his little sister."
And this is the rest of the conversation:
Brother's Friend: "Oh really? Are you in highschool?"
Me: "No, I'm in college."
Brother's Friend: "Cool. When did you graduate?"
Me: "2008."
Brother's Friend: "From where?"
Me: "*INSERT MY SCHOOL HERE*"
Brother's Friend: "Really? That's cool. Wanna hang out some time? *Talks to someone in the background for a moment*"
Me: "Uhh...sure, why not."
Brother's Friend: "Cool. What's your name?"
Me: "Rikku." (I gave him my real name, but with Internet stalkers, I just don't feel comfortable posting it on the WWW. Sorry guys)
Brother's Friend: "Okay, talk to you later. Bye!"
Me: "Bye."
And then he called once more about ten minutes ago (this time my mom answered):
Mom: "Hello?"
Brother's Friend: "Is Rikku there?"
Mom: "Yes, may I ask who's calling?" (I was dumb/flattered enough to forget to ask his name during the first conversation)
Brother's Friend: "It's *INSERT HIS REAL NAME HERE*"
Mom: "Okay, hold on. Rikku!"
Me: *whisper* "Who is it?"
Mom: "*INSERT HIS REAL NAME HERE*."
Me: "Hello?"
Brother's Friend: "Hey what's up?"
Me: "N-nothing much, you?"
Brother's Friend: "Nothing much. You got a car?"
Me: "No, I'm afraid not."
Brother's Friend: "Aw man, I was wondering if you wanted to come down to *INSERT RESTURANT HERE*."
Me: "Well, tonight's no good since I've been sick for a while. I'm sorry." (that's not a lie either; I have been sick for a few months)
Brother's Friend: "Ah, well okay. Can you call me later?"
Me: "Sure, I'll try."
Brother's Friend: "Okay, bye!"
Me: "Bye."
I don't have high hopes for this guy, since I get the feeling it's just some weird prank boys pull to see if women will date them or something (men...). Though that would kind of suck, still I'm not holding high hopes. Not gonna do it. Sorry folks.
