[Second Promise: The Basics]
So this place is called Memento Eden. It stole my past from me and now expects me to accept it and just wait around for my memories to return. How the hell am I supposed to accept that? This must have been someone's work. Memory loss doesn't happen randomly like that, does it? I'll have to find the one responsible for doing this and raise hell. I had important things to do or at least I'd like to think I do so I need to remember what it is I have to do!
After talking to some people, I followed a cat made my way to some "apartment complex" that offers free lodging and meals. I'm supposed to share my room with someone named Roy. I'd rather live alone, but it's free. I won't complain unless he turns out to have annoying habits or something. Like being extroverted.
...This place has strange cats. I wonder if the rest of them are like that one I saw...
I should find a job. Free rooms or not, I'll need at least some money. Also, I don't want to sit around all day trying to remember things. I have a sword...maybe I should try something that involves battle. I must have known how to fight. Hopefully I didn't lose muscle memory too. If I did...maybe I could work for a blacksmith. I'll take what I can get...unless it's something morally demeaning.
