Anti-Recruitment protest in Oakland
POG held another anti-recruitment protest/direct action in Oakland today. The police were summoned and proceeded to pepper spray the bystanders and protesters and even used tasers on some. A 68-year-old woman was bitten by a police dog from behind, and was later arrested for wanting to file a complaint. At least five others were arrested. Charges are pending.
Using tasers and chem. weapons against (unarmed) non-violent protesters. Makes you wonder who the real terrorists are.
