wherein Kez fails at Basic Meme'ing 101 (it's an art, really)

So I wanted to do that 777 meme, this one: You go to the 7th page of your WIP, 7th line down, and copy/share the next 7 lines. (Totally stolen from
queenklu.)

Except my WIP doesn't actually have 7 pages just yet? (It's stuck at 6 and a half.) But I wanted to do this anyway so whatevs. I'm basically fucking the format of this meme in the ass. (Don't worry, we all know the meme loves it.) I picked 7 random lines and oh my god. Why does my Steve-voice induce so many run-on sentences?

Ever since that afternoon at his with the team, Steve can’t stop thinking about what’s hiding under Danny’s button-up and tie combos. Not, he admits, that he didn’t think about it before from time to time (though it was mostly in bed, in the dead of night, and usually after they’ve wrapped up a case and Steve needs some alone time with his right hand and no one to know where his thoughts have taken him)-because seeing Danny tired and wilted enough to yank off his tie and unbutton the top few buttons of his shirt before he even gets out of his office, never mind the building, is more than enough to leave Steve wanting, but now it’s kinda sorta become a thing. A Steve Can’t Stop Thinking About What’s Under His Partner’s Clothes kind of thing. He shies away from calling it an obsession because that’s just not something Steve does. He does focused and attentive and sometimes, sometimes, he does fixated but he never, ever, does obsessed because that only leads to creepy shit like going through people’s underwear drawers or stalking them on ones days off and while he’s not really the underwear sniffing type and he’s fairly sure he could stalk Danny from here to Mumbai without Danny ever becoming the wiser, Steve’s seen enough Lifetime: Television For Women to know that stalking is a huuuge No-No. It’s not something that’s ever appreciated by the stalkee so no, Steve wouldn’t say he’s obsessed.

(Even though that’s pretty much, exactly what he is.)

Yeah, idk. I actually really like this fic. Only I kind of got stuck and. Well. I have about 2500 words of it. We'll see.
