So they had a few interesting movie trailers during the Super Bowl. It's safe to say that I still get excited like a little kid when I see a badass movie ad. :3
First up, the one I'm most excited about. Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg. Directed by John Favreau. Daniel Craig. Harrison Ford. It's called Cowboys and Aliens, guys. I just. alksd;jasldkfjs. Whut. Fangirl gleeee~
Transformers 3 Super Bowl ad. Short but OH SO SHINY *_______*
Super 8 (Directed by JJ Abrams, Produced by Steven Spielberg; this is the 2 minute teaser trailer) Super Bowl ad:
Interesting but I still have no idea what it's about...
There was a Fast Five ad but it's pretty much got the same stuff as the original trailer, just cut down for TV, but whatevs. I'm posting it for posterity. :P
There were two interesting movie ads that aired before the game. One was for Priest but it wasn't new, just a 30 second verson of the original trailer that's been out for awhile:
It still doesn't look great, the graphics look kind of shabby and the vampires look very blah but hello Paul Bettany, Karl Urban & Maggie Q.
The other was Battle: Los Angeles which I'd never heard of/seen before.
& Because the 30 sec SB ad brought new clips I'll add it here:
Makes me think of a mix between Skyline (LOL) and War of the Worlds (the one with Tom Cruise). It looks shiny enough and it's got Aaron Eckhart and Michelle Rodriguez but it's directed/written by people I've never heard of so. Who really knows?
There were a bunch of ads for animated movies but ehh. Not interested. There was a PotC4 ad too but also meh. Love Johnny Depp. Love Jack Sparrow but am not really diggin' another PotC flick. :/
