Wow. Now I see why some fans were so dissatisfied with Season 9 of The X-Files. I mean, I'm only halfway through 'Trust No 1' (9.06) and I already want to shoot myself. I just keep thinking in my mind: "Really, Dana? Really? You're actually believing this crap? Really?"
This is the episode summary. (Yes, really.)
9.06 - Trust No 1: Scully is hopeful about reuniting with Mulder when a complete stranger offers new information about what drove him into hiding. Yet her trust in the stranger may place Mulder in even more danger.
Seriously? SERIOUSLY? What the-- DUH. IT'S NOT LIKE IT'S ROCKET-SCIENCE, GUYS.
CLEARLY she is not paranoid enough. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GO OFF GALLIVANTING "FOR THE GREATER GOOD", MULDER. PEOPLE START LOSING THEIR MINDS.
And, okay. *calms down* I think I'm just going to watch the Mytharc episodes for this season and skip the rest. I may come back and watch a few of the Doggett-centric eps because Doggett is still a hotass but it's been a trial getting this far in and I really just want to watch 'The Truth I & II' (9.19-20) for closure and the second movie for Team Mulder-and-Scully lulz.
So. If you know of
any other S9 eps that I should definitely watch, speak now or forever hold your peace. (Though I expect that list, if it exists at all, will be very, very short.)
