1. REPLY TO THIS MEME BY YELLING "PORN IS WHERE THE HEART IS", AND I WILL GIVE YOU FIVE WORDS THAT REMIND ME OF YOU.
2. THEN POST THEM IN YOUR JOURNAL AND EXPLAIN WHAT THEY MEAN TO YOU.
3. KEEP IN MIND THAT IF I DON'T KNOW YOU THAT WELL, YOUR WORDS MIGHT END UP KIND OF ODD OR WEIRD. IF I DO KNOW YOU, YOUR WORDS WILL MAYBE PROBABLY BE WEIRD.
1. KakaNaru
KakaNaru (Or NaruKaka, however you prefer, I'm not picky) is, if you weren't already aware, my favorite Naruto ship. It's probably my favorite ship, period, which is kind of a big thing for me because I've lurked in dozens of fandoms and this is the one that managed to really stay with me. It's also the second pairing that I've ever thought of as a true OTP (the other is Snape/Harry from HP). I admit it's a totally indulgent pairing, as basically I like it because it's made up of my two favorite characters in Naruto. There wasn't even really a lot of canon subtext for the pair until recently (unless you like shota, which I do not) and even then it's still minimal. In a fandom of mostly SasuNaru shippers, we KakaNaru fen are in a league of our own but I don't let that stop me because I like the way they fit together. (Random factoid: of the Team 7, teacher/student ships, KakaNaru is probably the least popular... KakaSaku and KakaSasu are way more common ;_;) I like the age difference and the teacher/student aspect--as short-lived as that was. I like the way their personalities are so different. Naruto is immature and childish at times but he has a heart of gold and will do anything to protect his friends/teammates/village. Kakashi is such a lone wolf and I like that he's a bit of a jerk (which Iruka-sensei can definitely attest to, lol) and not very social but he too will go to far-reaching lengths to protect his friends/teammates/village. They're a lot alike while they're a lot different and I like that dynamic.
2. X-Files
Ahaha. My newest obsession fandom. Okay, let's see... FBI. Conspiracies. Aliens. Shadow government types. Conspiracies. Aliens. Quirky FBI Agents. Kick Ass Taking-No-Names But Clearly Ass Pwning Female FBI Agents With Md's. Conspiracies. Aliens. Mulder. Krycek~. That Cigarrette Smoking Bastard. The Scully!eyebrow. Aliens. :3
Seriously, what's not to like?
I kind of got X-Filed out when I got to the beginning of season 6 at the end of last year but I'm getting my second wind and am about to start watching again. I'm kind of reluctant because of what happens to a certain one-armed assassin (I had to know, so I spoiled myself for that) but, well. It's all part of the story, we'll just have to see how it goes.
3. Shia LaBeouf
Oh, Shia~ I used to watch him on Even Stevens back in the day and I always thought he was way too awesome to be on a Disney show. I loved him though, even with the big nose and wild hair that made him look a bit crazy but I never really found him attractive because he was just a kid, you know? Suffice it to say I have no problem with that now he's all grown up. lulz Besides, Sam Witwicky of Transformers is one of my favorite characters.
So, yeah, I like Shia LaBeouf but I'm not a fan of his 'cause I think he's hot. I'm a fan of his because he's so damn funny. He knows comedy and he's good at it. He makes me laugh just by being him and it never seems forced or over the top and I appreciate that.
4. quirks
I like people with quirks. I appreciate them more that people who pretend to have none. It's more honest, I guess, and a hell of a lot more interesting. Quirks give you personality. Anywho, I like to read about them. I like to write about them. I like to know them. If you ever met the girl I go to karaoke with, you'd probably understand? lol I dunno but she's quirky as all get out, man... I don't know if I have a lot of/any quirks though. Maybe I do but since it's me, I can't tell if the things I do are quirky?
5. puppies
Rerun (of Peanuts fame) once said "Happiness is a warm puppy" and damned if he wasn't right. I don't know how someone can cuddle up with a pup and not find themselves happy or, failing that, feeling lighter than they were before. They have such a joie de vivre. Puppies make me gleeful. Plus, the fact that these living, breathing animals let us take us into our homes to live with us as companions is kind of incredible.
Bella's the only actual puppy that I've ever had and I sometimes think that she's probably a little retarded but, oh well. She's soft and she's warm and she's mine. I think that's enough for me. ;D
In other news, I am a Sims 2 addict. I hadn't played for a long long time, so I reinstalled it recently and have been playing like a fiend. I'm on next-gen families now. I'm totes going to try and have ickle all-grown-up Alexander Goth get abducted by aliens. CANON MPREG FTW? lulz
