I am still reading Inuyasha but I also finally managed to catch up on Vinland Saga. Um, can I say that this monthly thing? So makes me want to throw a tantrum. I need more Thorfinn/Askeladd now pls.
Also? I find Prince Canute pretty hilarious. Oh Yukimura-san, why did you turn the shy bishie into such a hardass? Because I was enjoying him so much more when he was shy. Some of the best panels are when he got all pissy at Thorfinn and now... he's all serious. CAN IT BE RELAPSE TIME NOW?

SO. ISSHIN. :3 HE'S KIND OF MY FAVORITE BLEACH CHARACTER, FYI. I like him because he's crazy and he's always going "MASAKIII~~~" and crying/running to that huge-ass poster of her he has whenever the kids gang up on him and he's always kicking Ichigo into wakefulness (IT'S JUST TRAINING, GUYS) and just, yeah.
I love him because he's crazy, pretty much.
Seeing him be fatherly (however, um, unorthodox he might be), especially with Yuzu and Karin, sends my heart into palpitations of joy. It's so cuuute! And I love that he refers to himself as "Daddy" when he talking to his kids and I love the scruff on his face and that he's a doctor, even if only in a clinic. Plus? He's a shinigami on the low-low and he killed Grand Fisher to revenge his late wife. I also love that even though she's passed on, he still has love for her.
He's just a incredibly sweet, crazy guy, you know? And I kind of want one of him for myself.
And I totally have theories about him in Soul Society that nobody else cares about.
2) Ryuuken/Isshin.
Um, I like it because it works? lol Both are doctors, one's mentally unbalanced insane a little crazy and the other is strait-laced anal-retentive uptight. One's a Quincy and the other is a Shinigami. Um. I can't say I remember if they've met in canon or not... but in my personal fanon? They went to college together and Isshin probably drove Ryuuken absolutely apeshit. (I may have read that in a fic somewhere and it just stuck... but it still stands!) It would be pretty hilarious in any case. I wrote a ficlet for Myu-chan once... I think there were chocolate covered strawberries involved? In my defense, I'm sure I must have been goaded into doing it. XD
3) Don Kanonji/Isshin.
WHAT? LOL IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO DRAW THE BUTTSECKS, MYU-CHAN, I GAVE YOU ANOTHER OPTION, though now I'm realizing it was supposed to be your choice XD.
It's like this. Take one cracky character (that would be Isshin), add another cracky character (that would be Don Kanonji), add in a sprinkle of romantic leanings, put them into one of those handy little cocktail shakers and shake like your very life depended on it (it very well could be, you never know). What you get is guaranteed to be pure addictively cracky hilarity, I guarantee it. Or, I would guarantee it if people would actually write it. I mean, golden opportunity, right? lol
Besides, it was Myu-chan who put the idea in my head in the first place when she wrote the following...

Don Kanonji: OHO WHAT'S THIS.

4) KakaNaru.
This is my favorite Naruto pairing. I can't explain why I like this pairing so much but it's probably because it's so rare (and because they're both my favorite characters). I am often a champion of the underdog, in any case, and this pairing is nothing if not an underdog. Kakashi has the aloof/mysterious thing going for him and Naruto has the annoying/dumb blonde thing going for him but! The first is a pervert and the second is a total babe (ha!). lol Idk, I think it could work. I have in fact read a few fics where I think it worked fairly well for the most part; though the rest are still yet to be completed or really bad badfic. =/
Having a rare pair (and being a glacially slow writer) as your OTP is kind of like shooting yourself in the foot because of the fact that it's so rare that no one else wants to give it a chance. :( But one day I will actually post some of my fic (cross your fingers that I actually finish it) and idk maybeprobably bribe someone to write me some. *shrug*
5) Doppelganger!
Ha! Myu-chan is my Canadian doppelganger who looks nothing at all like me. I remember chatting with her via LJ comments and thinking wow, we are so alike! I would have called her my twin only Kate is my OTT (One True Twin) so I thought: doppelganger. Even though we look nothing alike (lol) we have a lot in common. She always seemed to empathize with whatever school/family/life situation I was going through and I felt I could do the same with her and so I dubbed her my doppelganger.
Plus, I like the idea of saying "It wasn't me! It was my doppelganger!" even if only in my head. :P You can blame her for the Inuyasha thing, too...
