My perception of time is so thrown off after this weekend. I looked at the clock a little early and saw 4:00. For some reason I thought "fuck it's late!" as in.. I thought it was 4am. That's not the first time that's happened since I got home. Weird. But when you've been sitting on a sidewalk for hours on end three days in a row (and actually sleeping on that sidewalk for a good portion of one of those nights), your internal clock tends to get a little fucked up. However, despite this, and severe lack of both food and sleep in general, this weekend was amaaaaaaazing. Tegan and Sara put on a fuckin show like I never expected. All four nights they were incredible AND they played Knife Going In which was breathtaking. But so was the stripped down version of Relief Next To Me that kind of made me die a little inside (in the best way possible).

Some highlights of the weekend included (aside from Tegan and Sara, obviously):
- making a fort to shade us from the sun out of Amber's twister mat, mailer tape, garbage bags, and some chairs we borrowed that almost got us "arrested" (whatever)
- meeting/hanging out with new people (and spending an obscene amount of time with these people)
- eating Pinkberry (twice! mmmm)
- meeting Dallas Green (so sweet)
- playing guitar with a girl in line only to have a group of people join in and sing along to our playing
- having Tegan stand about three feet away from me before taking a group photo with her and some other fans
- SEEING KATIE (woo!!)

There were other highlights and some things I'm not sure how I feel about (like sleeping out on the streets to ensure a good spot in line for sunday's show.. definitely an experience and I don't regret it) but those are what I can think of.

All I know right now is that I'm *still* exhausted even though I got home yesterday (before noon!! I got us back in 4 1/2 hours!!) and Youtube is being a bitch. I will leave you with this.. because it's beautiful and Tegan yelling "die" at the annoying guy is kind of priceless.
