Thanks for the no-baby congrats. I do feel a little bad about being so up in arms about the whole thing - like I told jillianfish, it's not that I don't like babies. I just don't want to have any, personally. I fully support everyone else's decision to propagate like bunnies.

Drunken TC is indeed a sight to behold. He's usually just so level and easygoing that seeing him a little off-kilter was a real kick.

YAY - A fellow TM fan to ramble to! I agree, dark and angsty Simon Baker is a sight to behold. I just get freaked out because I'm not sure how/if they're going to be able to pull him back from this ledge he seems to be racing toward. I was talking to lizook12 the other day about the fact that I just get worried we're going in a direction like the one they took with House, where our main character is so deeply tormented that there's never any coming back from that. I can handle dark as long as there's some sign of light up ahead.

As for this whole Jane-and-Lisbon conspirators aspect of the season, though? LOVING IT. I definitely feel like this has brought the two of them closer. While it may be in a sadly platonic way on the show, it's given my fic-loving mind all sorts of fun places to meander during the week.

Nonono, I totally understand! Babies are adorable and everything, but it's a perfectly valid choice not to want any of one's own. And besides, it's none of anyone's business except yours and TC's.

I have this vague idea about maybe wanting kids someday, but right now? OH HELL NO. I'll just settle for borrowing other people's babies and giving them back when they need their diaper changed or something. :P

Dude. I am always up for TM rambling. That's a fair point about Jane turning into House...DNW. I gave up on watching House a couple seasons ago because he had absolutely zero redeeming characteristics left and I just wanted to smack him all the time.

I've been kind of waiting for him to take a flying leap off the edge of sanity for a while now, the poor guy. I HOPE LISBON WILL BE THERE TO CATCH HIM IF/WHEN HE DOES. (I also hope we get loooooooots more of Lisbon and Jane scheming together. Lisbon's got this look on her face she saves just for dealing with Jane and their little conspiracy and it KILLS ME DEAD. It's like a mixture of love and exasperation and concern and longing and worry and eeeeeeeeverything.)

OH. And also, I love you lots for using the phrase off-kilter. :D
