Q1: He does not have a license; nor does he own a car, given how loose he is with his money. The cost of purchase and ownership of a motorized vehicle is pretty high, and he'd rather invest that money into his cellphone or other fun things. That being said... he "can drive", and does so every time he gets the chance. I wouldn't recommend a ride with him unless you want to part with the contents of your stomach -- he drives much too fast and is much too abrupt. So far he's only driven cars, but he'd hop on a bike in a heartbeat. And he has a skateboard? His bike got crashed into, unfortunately.
Hidan: Huh? What do you think? Best damned thing around. Now give me your keys, kick back and have the ride of your life. You wouldn't wanna miss this, trust me.
Q2. Hm. How to answer this in a short overview. Very valid question. Truth be told, I'm unsure of it myself. I did not even think of pairing him up with anyone when I joined this game (or any game -- it's Hidan, for god's sake). Thinking back, there is a lot of interaction that was never posted in the community because it was not proper threading (Itachi-mun and I should revise those and post them, perhaps). I can only answer from Hidan's perspective, but hopefully I am somewhat accurate as to the whole situation. It began with some mutual intrigue (because they are so different) and a lot of fighting (verbal and physical). In turn, this turned into a challenge (to break that neutral facade) and toying around coupled with mocking. And things tumbled down from there. Frankly, I don't know. Maybe the sex was good. Maybe they actually got to know each other. Maybe they were just too touched in the head and came to a compromise they both accept. Maybe they were lonely. Maybe it's just the possessiveness/protectiveness. Or the habit. Or a mixture of all these factors. Hidan never considering entering a serious relationship with anyone -- the thought freaks him out, so he often doesn't think about it too much or label it as anything but a hook-up, but Itachi is a steady emotional base in his life. Itachi-mun's more than welcome to add her own comments on this, of course. ♥
