Went camping this weekend. Turner Falls, Oklahoma.

It was pretty fun...camping always is. I have an awesome family. I laugh more than ever around them. We've never camped at Turner Falls before. The last time I went out there, there were thousands of people everywhere. This time however, there were very few people there, it was nice. Except in the sense that there were bored cops patrolling around...and they kept coming over and hanging out with us. They started off threatening my aunt for some reason, then they started going over all these different fines they could give people...needless to say, I had to stop drinking. Three cop cars, and like 5 cops showed up at a time. Two of them ended up hanging around...I just wanted them to leave. So did my dad. But my uncle and everyone else kept asking them questions and stuff...pretty soon they were sitting down, getting comfortable, telling stories, etc. Ugh. Buddha and Choker were their names...because one was bald with a huge beer gut, the other one was big and supposedly liked to take people down with chokeholds.

It was lame...how they spent so much time around our camp bothering us, yet these hispanic families were allowed to party it up all night long, with their loud mariachi music and chopped/screwed rap going...I didn't get any sleep. None of us did. It finally stopped at around 5am I think...then it started back up at around 8am. Mariachi alarm clock. Way to wake up..

But other than that, it was fun. Turner Falls isn't trashed out like I was expecting, it was quite scenic. It was really fun diving off the rocks into the water and trying not to slip on all the slippery moss on the way out. Haha. My brother wiped out of course...it was bound to happen. Nobody saw it though...we just heard it...and there he was, sprawled out on his back, rolling around in the water like a slug. Poor kid.

We came home a little early...nobody felt like doing anything else after not being able to get any sleep, I guess.

Hanging around.

Yum. Riverrat.

Snowcones!

Right before the cops showed up..
