Holiday Stuff
I've been a bit of a bad mod of late. Trying to rectify that. I had intended on starting up a holiday challenge, but somehow time got away from me on it. Perhaps next year. However!
Instead of a holiday challenge, I encourage everyone to sign up for fandom_stocking!
Essentially what it is is you sign up at this post with your username, your fandoms, any pairings you like, and anything you generally like with the fandom, would want to see in fic, etc.
From there, medie makes a post in the community with all your info and it's your virtual stocking. All comments are screened until the big reveal where you can see what people "stuffed" your stocking with. It could be holiday comments, fanmixes, icons, ficlets, etc. When the reveal comes, medie unscreens the comments and you can see what goodies were left for you.
While perusing some of the "stockings", I have noticed some fellow Blood Ties fans, so I think it would be a great thing for people to do this year. Maybe We'll get some lovely Blood Ties ficlets. I know I am going to try my hand at writing a few if I can. I already have 3 in other fandoms I am doing, but I want to try and throw at least one up for Blood Ties if I can.
