Not to be ungrateful, but...

I've been meaning to ask: Am I the only one who gets cognitive dissonance from this ad campaign running commercials during a show whose star has the cutest smile lines since Debrah Farentino? Does. Not. Compute.

It probably stood out more because -- like probably a good chunk of BT's fandom contingent, if not viewership as a whole -- I've never been in the habit of watching Lifetime, and I'm not accustomed to their usual run of advertisers. I suppose I should be glad it's not all cleaning products, huh? (Those "blonde vs. brunette" commercials, whatever the heck they're for, also frequently make me want to throw things. But they're merely lame.) Seriously, when your show involves various supernatural goings-on, the commercials shouldn't be creepier!

*sigh* I'm a great believer in "thank the sponsors" as an indispensible renewal-campaign tool. But in this case, I'm going to have to take a pass. :-/
