I find myself thinking of my holiday shopping. Gotta get Christmas cards to mail to my Jewish friends.

seriously, I love and hate the holidays.
I like picking out gifts.
I like getting swag.
I'll skip the family dinners. too much hassle.
but I am getting my mom a gps. Wrong way Mary needs some guidance. I'm thinking GPS for Dummies, she's a bit on the technophobe side. Still gets me to program her stereo stations every time I visit her house.
So I still live in the swamp. it's ok. I'm worried about my sister, i think her tumors are growing back. and getting her to go to the doctor is usually an effort in futility. But she's agreed to go next Monday, and hopefully it won't be too heinous. Part of the problem is no insurance, so that means we go to the emergency room, where they proclaim her a drug seking hypochondriac. she is drug seeking, but all things considered, she needs 'em. but she also doesn't want to become a pill popping addict. I guess we'll see how it goes.
I'm trying to get a transfer from the circle K in tigerland where I work, to deniam springs, where i live. The gas money and transit is killing me. I miss my house too. I stay at my BF's house 5 days a week to cut back on transit.
I decided I want a puppy for christmas. I'm bummed out that my Toki got parvo and died, but i think it's time for another dog. Not sure if i want a big dog or little. If i owned my own house I'd definatly get a big puppy, but I don't. I'm worried if i have to move into an apartment, that's just not fair to a big dog. So for now I have my eye out for a small dog, something like a jack russel or a beagel. As with most pets I've ever had, I expect he or she will find me. So maybe it's not that I'm getting a puppy for x-mas, but I'm ready for another one, and I've started looking.
oh well, stuff and things. Off to work with me, another night of Drunken Douchebags and Tiger Tarts.
