I've got soooo much going on right now, I had a little freakout last night screaming about when do I get time for myself! My Mom and Jai are coming to visit, then my current squeeze and I are making a trip to FL. There's also Gulf Wars in the middle of march (www.Gulfwars.org), which is a little over a week. Then I've got a couple friends who I haven't seen in 7 years that want to come kidnap me for a week and go up to VA, end of march or beginning of april. My Dad is talking about coming down sometime in April or May, when he gets back from Jamacia (I'm jealous!) and I'm buying my Talendel a plane ticket to come see me in June.
So much traveling, I really do love it! I'm wondering if this is just one of those wandering years. :D
So yeah, I'm adding a camping trip in April or May to my tenitive agenda. I'm pretty sure I can convince my sorta boyfriend to go camping with me, lol

as to that, lemme tell you about my love life, lol...
So I have My Talendel, who I've loved for years, and we finally decided to date, even though he lives in OR. For years I called him my brother, even though he's not. Lots of unspoken things between the both of us over the years, misunderstandings and such, but what it boils down to is that both of us have wanted the other for years, and never said anything about it, because we thought the other was happy with things the way they were. So, 8 years of wanting to be the other's mate, and I got way too doped up on cold medicine and Jager (same thing really) and got verbal diarrhea and now we are finally being completely honest and open and it makes me so very happy I could just pop. *grins like a smitten fool* But he lives in OR which is so damn far away!
So, At Tal's encouragement, I went looking for a fuck/cuddle buddy and found Dennis. He's very sweet, loves to snuggle up and watch movies.
Dennis is teaching me to play guitar, gave me a guitar, and we go get coffee together almost every night before I go to work. He took me out for Valentine's day and I had a total blast. More or less, we're dating without commitment. He knows about Tal, and knows I'll be leaving in a year or so, but figures I'm so awesome, he'll enjoy what time he does get with me. I was telling Tal about my V day, Dennis gave me a dozen roses (pink of course!) and a white chocolate heart, and took me out to Perkins row, this fancy little ritzy area where we had dinner and then wandered around looking at the fountains and in the windows of the boutique shops. I wore a Marilyn Monroe dress, and the funniest thing happened, as we were walking we passed over a ventilation grating, and my skirt blew up, and I laugh so had while holding it down, it was the perfect replication of that famous shot of the lady herself. look at the pic! Anyway, I had a blast and when I told Tal about it, he grinned and asked me to pass his thanks onto Dennis for being here and doing all these things for me that he can't do cause he's too far away. When I told Dennis that, He asked me to send his thanks back to Tal for sharing me. I lost it laughing. My boyfriends are thanking each other through me! LOL!
Anyway, I'm very happy with the way things are right now, though I do wish Tal was closer.
Joi and Gyp are doing good, Joi finally got to a doc, who perscribed her prozac and loritabs. She's dating a guy named Steven, he's good for her, and I like him. Gyp is doing better in school again (OMG I was gonna kill her last semester) and the house is happy, I love then new place. When I get off work in the mornings, I go to Dennis's house for a couple hours of cuddling and some coffee before he drops me off at home and goes to work around 6. I hang with Gyp for a bit while she gets ready for school, then I brew coffee, wake Joi up, and we take our coffee in the back yard, climb this big old oak tree, and sit in the tree drinking coffee for a couple hours. It's so awesome. :) get to watch the sun come up most days. Watch the dawn bleed into the night sky.
I don't really have much planned for Mardi Gras, though when I mentioned I'd never been to NO for mardi gras, but I wanted to eventually, Dennis suggested we go on fat tues, so I guess I get to go see the craziness this year! *grins*

So I realized my quick post got long, but hey, I kinda needed to ramble on about my life.
