Day Seven: Four turn offs.
1. When there's lots of blood everywhere during a crime scene. It gets really messy, and it takes a lot of careful, thorough work to make sure myself and the rest of the forensics geeks don't miss anything. It's also undignified and disgusting when an inhuman leaves a lot of leftovers out. They're like savage animals in that way.
2. Sex. The act itself I'm just...not attracted to. The whole flesh on flesh and the, um, really naughty stuff. I don't even think about such things. It's too unsettling and undignified for me to even want to do. I only like to get up close and personal with the bad guys with 50 pound test fishing line, and things that are sharp.
3. Starving in the middle of a long, busy day. My body is a machine that needs constant refueling! I like eating a lot more than going hungry. It's hard for me to function on an empty stomach.
4. If there's something on a conversation I'm missing out on or don't understand, I think I try to focus in another direction. With most things I don't understand, I usually just end up poking fun of it. It bothers me less after that.
