This post reminded me of how when we were younger, my friends and I used to find junk TVs on the trash days in my town and "give them a proper burial"...that is to say, demolish them with a baseball bat or bowling ball (or both)...
Thus one thing of note if you choose the baseball bat method...you have to release the pressure built up in the tubes in order to knock the glass screen in. It was always funny to give newcomers the first crack at the set w/ the aluminum bat and watch them go right for that screen and then just cringe in pain as TV bit back
Wow, awesome... what's even better about this is that I effin hate TV... and by TV I mean news, shows, and probably 90% of movies... waste of time, I say. Band performances or musicals are cool though. =D
I almost fully agree with this. Unfortunately, being unemployed and having a ravaging addiction to "ER" (and lately the show before it, "The Apprentice" - which I admit very reluctantly) I would have to plug it back in for two hours on Thursday nights.
