Tuberculosis is curable, though I'm not sure if the city is stocked with medicine to cure it right now. Still, I'm sure there is medicine to ease your symptoms.

Seguchi-san, can you do me a favor? Keep this from Tetsu-kun? I doubt at this stage I'm completely able to heal but if it's as you say my chances are better then... But in my time, it meant death...I don't want anyone needlessly worrying about me. Yamazaki-san used to be my doctor but it seems he doesn't remember either. So...while I got get medication or what not. Could you keep in a secret?

If you do die here because of it, the scientists will revive you; it won't be a permanent death. Don't push yourself, though. You should probably stay on bed rest for a while.
When you come home later, I'll teach you how to lock conversations with certain people so things can stay secret.
