It is, though I think only two people have been here longer than I have.

What would be the average amount of time people spend in this world then?

Six months to a year, I think.

And there is no way for us to return to our worlds on our own free will, correct? At least, that is what a few people have told me thus far.

That's right. Though the scientists have claimed to be able to do it.

Is it possible to get in contact with these scientists?

Fran would know. They've been missing for some time, but he claims to have made contact. He said he'll have information in about a week.

And these Animus spirits, do they have anything to do with our arrivals and departures from his city? Or does that fall within the power of the scientists alone?

The Animus seem to have the most control over it all. Or at least a measure of it.
