[The smile says he wouldn't have, but. Al walks forwards, leaning over and sliding his fingers over the back of his neck, resting his cheek in Negi's hair.
He's still the same height, but Negi feels more solid, somehow.]

[But the hold takes him a bit by surprise, even if it shouldn't. There's been... a lot more holding like this, lately. A lot more. And being used to lighter touches... He doesn't tense, but he lets out a breath, then leans forward to wrap his arms around Al's middle.]
