[After a while, Sasuke makes his way over to Unohana's clinic after making sure Hitsugaya was sound asleep. He recognized the room Al was in and immediately went to it, knocking on the door lightly before coming in.]
[Al was dozing, and already sick of chicken broth and all the other things he was eating to help him replenish his blood supply. He fingers twitched on the blankets, and he pulled them over his unbroken , but still badly bruised arms.]
[Sasuke stepped in the room fully, closing the door behind him before making his way over to Al's bedside. He didn't like how pale he looked at all.
He shouldn't be one to talk, though, not with the bruises that came after his struggles against his bed restrains. But bruises were bruises and they would fade with time. Bloodloss, however, was another matter.]
[He knows it is, but well... He's been called an idiot a lot the past week, and even before that. And he's had so much going on lately that he's just... tired. So forgive him if he says something stupid.]
[Sauce is slightly freaking out here. Just a little. :|]

I'm sorry, Sas'ke.
[The video feed flicks on, and he looks pale and tired, but freshly scrubbed clean, laying in the hospital bed on his back.]
See, I'm okay.

What did you do to lose so much blood...?

Crab pinchers. ... it lifted me up and crushed my forearm, and then jerked me around a little bit. Tore all of this open.
It was a mess.
[Al doesn't point out the bloody clothes balled up in the laundry basket. It looks like he murdered someone with a fork.]

Why did... Why did you even go near a crab?
[He pauses for a moment before pulling up a chair to sit in, and his voice softens when he speaks next.]
Such an idiot, Alphonse...

[Al pauses, staring down at his hands. That word's like a trigger, and it looks like it hurts.]
