No. Asking for that means that you know that something is very wrong, because that's what I would act on.

I can think of two possible sources for that sort of stress, and Envy's been quiet. He's the easier of the two to watch, oddly enough.

I know you've looked into his eyes, Al. You were a step to what he wanted, so of course he would be amenable. Do not let your guard down around him.

Because it would have been easy to say yes. To do what he wanted in order to protect Kamui and whomever else you felt you were protecting. But you took a stand like I'd been hhoping and trusting you would.
