By the way, Asuna...? Do you recognize him? I mean, I know you've said you did before, and that Negi really looks like his dad, but... this could be just the breakthrough we've been waiting for! If Mr. Springfield DID know you back then, it stands to reason that he'd be able to tell us about your lost memories. Maybe even if we're really lucky, he can tell us WHY you lost them!

That's awesome! Man, it's so weird, having Negi back here...and Nagi coming so quickly! Did I tell you? First time Negi was here, he was really worried--he thought that since he was stuck here, he couldn't ever find his dad. I told him there was a chance. And you know what? [she laughs]

I've been thinking the exact same thing! I do feel this sort of recognition, like I really HAVE seen him before, and he seems to recognize me too--he even called me Asuna! I think this may be the key to unlocking what we need.

How do we do this? I mean, just go up and ask, "Hey, Mr. Springfield, by the way, we're pretty sure you know Asuna from back when she was a Princess, can you tell us why her memories are a black hole and, even better, when there's a little-Asuna fighting to get out...?"
