[... two days later and Al's only just managed to get all the braids out. His hair is fuzzy and crimped beyond reason, sticking out in all directions, and he's rubbing his scalp and making faces here and there, and talking to himself. He doesn't really realized the feed's on.]
Ms. Tia looks very good with braids, but... I-I just can't pull them off.
[Thank goodness it's a warm day, because he's about to go dunk his head in the rain barrel to make it lay properly. He spares the network, however. All they hear is a splash, and Al comes back, rubbing a towel through his hair, despairing of ever getting most of the tangles out.]
Sometimes I wonder if keeping it this long is worth it, really. But... he always kinda liked it that way. I wonder if...
[Alphonse trails off pensively, wet hair dripping down his chest, an intensely thoughtful expression on his face as he drags a comb through the tangles, carefully and patiently trying to work them all out.]
