You know, if you look at it in a certain way... maybe what was taken from us served as a motivator. If less had been taken, if I had been without a limb or two, I wonder if we would have accepted the loss and lived as we were.

I can't say anything for sure, but if we hadn't lost so much, maybe we would never have gained so much.

And I have never really considered myself an unlucky person.
