Oh, the hot springs are almost done?! All right! I'm so excited!

The tale is, Santa Claus is this guy who lives up in the North Pole and makes gifts for the good children and gives it to them on December 25th, and he rides around the world on his sleigh pulled by flying reindeer. It's mostly a kid's tale, but still--Santa's a huge symbol for Christmas!

Always. Don't give me all the credit though, there are a whole lot of people helping with this. When it's done it'll be so worth it.

Ffff, I know my limits and I haven't pushed them! I'm just so excited, I'm getting all the work out of the way so I can go exploring all the shops. The whole city is filled them, and all kinds of decorations.

Really? Woah... how does he get the gifts to the kids?

Whoa, there's shops? I didn't know that! I just saw the decorations! I should go check 'em out sometime...get stuff for people, get some winter clothing...

You know that sleigh he rides on? Yeah, he gets on it and flies around to give the presents to the kids!

Not really, I just found the springs, and it grew from there.

Yup! Right in the center of town, in the mall, there's this huge shopping center... I guess you give gifts for Christmas, right? I'll look for stuff for people, something special.

Well... I don't have a flying sleigh, but I do have a zoomer... hmm.

Whoa! I'll have to check that out soon, then. And yeah, you give gifts on Christmas and just hang out with family and friends!

Really? Kaworu told me about that, and about cutting down a tree and stringing it up with lights I don't know why a tree, though but in world we exchange little gifts on New Year's.

I dunno why a tree either--just something random, I guess! Ah, you guys do that on New Years? ...now that I think about it, that makes a bit more sense to do.

That'll be SO cool to see! And I bet the view of the city'll be amazing from up high in the air!

Maybe we could just dress up a tree in our yard, or get one of those fake trees. I like all the real ones where they are. Really? I've always liked that tradition... it's nowhere near as big as this, though. Just one or two small things, but everyone does stay up until the year ends.

The zoomer does hover a little bit. If I can mod it enough to fly - probably with Winry's help, I'm not real mechanic - I'd love to take you. Especially with all these lights. It'll be beautiful.

Yeah, me too--people use fake trees all the time as well. Yeah, Christmastime is a huge thing in my world, even if Japan doesn't celebrate is as much as other countries. Usually people start taking stuff down at the beginning of the next year, but I've heard that some people in America leave their decorations up until July!

Whoa, really? That'd be so cool! I haven't been high up in the air since the Mahora Academy Festival...it's a cool feeling. And you know...it's beautiful when you get up on the rooftops, so I'd love to see how it all looks from far away!

Maybe we can do up one big tree in the middle of the city, too. July...? Why not just leave it up all year long, then?

I've never been flying... in my world, everything's pretty firmly attached to the ground. I can power things with alchemy enough to cause a whiplash of kinetic energy to "fly" something with me on it, but I'd need Ed's help for that, and we wouldn't be able to do it for more than a few minutes.

If I can pull it off, let's go!
