I'll be up and about at the hot springs for a few hours, everyone, but then I'll be at home for the rest of the day. I'm going to get some chores done there and hopefully get things together.

I have a feeling that Mom's much sicker than she says. It might be just a cold, but if she's actually taking a break and laying down, she's really, really sick.
I mentioned this in passing before, but she died when I was still a young child. She was sick, and she hid it until the very end. Dizziness, fainting spells. Fever, cold sweats. She was sick for years and nobody ever knew... we only found out because we came home one day and she'd passed out on the floor.
We don't know what she's sick with. All the doctors back home couldn't cure her, couldn't even tell her what was wrong. We have no idea of what it is, and if we... if we can't find a cure, we'll lose her all over again. We can't just ignore reality and hope it'll go away, because it won't. I'm not planning on losing her again.
I don't have your abilities, Ms. Unohana, but I want to know what I can do to help her with my own two hands. I'm studying the alchemy books I have, but I don't know much about mundane medicine.
I want to do everything I possibly can to take care of her, to do what I couldn't do the last time around. At the very least I want to know how to keep her comfortable.
Who knows, maybe I can end up helping Itachi, too.
