H-he won't kill me...under any circumstance. He just...won't...and the others can try, but...

I'm not going to help him, Alphonse-san...I just won't allow him to be killed...I still want to get his weapon from him, to destroy it...b-but...

If there's anything I can't do...it's to let him be killed...while I can protect him.
