I've made this announcement twice before this, but it's important that everyone have the information, including new people or those unconnected to me or my family.

In my world he would feel ghosts of emotions. Homunculi were creatures created from the dead, so they had some memories of the person they were created from. Envy was created from a very bitter and badly treated young man. He was abandoned and twisted to become the way he was.

... in another world, Envy was created to be a soul-less, remorseless killer. A tool. His personality is the same in general. Both are capable of ghosts of emotions, and like all humans, they crave emotions but don't know how to process them. So they fixate on the easiest ones to elicit; pain and fear.

Because they don't process things like humans do, emotionally and spiritually, they echo what humans are in their behavior and they have free will and rebellious spirits, but sometimes behave completely irrationally. Lust, another homunculus, assisted us because she wanted to find a way to become human. Envy sometimes helped us on orders, but then turned around and killed Ed because his hatred for him was so strong... and that hatred was only because of who our father is.

So... yes, they do feel... just not in the same way.It's not something that can be rationalized on the human emotional spectrum.

Well, you know him very well, it seems. He'd want to know about another immortal like myself. How someone else made something ageless. He could potentially try to seek him out.

Yuca likes deception, I think. He's very good at it--but since you say Envy can take on different forms and steal people's lives--perhaps Yuca could learn something. But--if Envy stays hidden all the time--perhaps there's nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately, I've come to expect the worst from him. If Envy's deceptive capabilities don't draw Yuca in, his immortality will.
