Stupid Labor Day
I was scheduled to work 5-1 tonight, but my aunt volunteered me to work 3:30 to midnight, instead. Normally, I wouldn't really care. But today was Labor Day, and everyone and their mother was on the boat. On normal nights, we'll go 20 min. with no one coming up to the booth, then 20 people will come up at once. Tonight, it was non-stop, all night. I got a few very grumpy, impatient people. Then, just to top it all off, when I went to get some chocolate ice cream and crushed Oreos on my break, there were no Oreos! Talk about sucky. But hey, I'm off for the next two days!
