" money. that's. what. i want. "

So i revised my resume, it sounds pretty decent. I forgot how much experience I do actually have..so hopefully someone agrees. or you know, doesnt care that i have to leave in September, which obviously lowers my chances at getting a job. I looked a the ottawa job bank, and sketchiness abounds - unless you know French, then you can get a decent job. otherwise it's looking after people, and/or their homes, in their home. one job fitting this description also included the comment "MUST have VERY good sense of humour for this job", and I don't think they mean the ability to tell a good joke.

anway, today i applied to
2 different pet stores
4 different Shoppers Drug Mart locations (..haha. Shoppers is basically taking over the world)
Starbucks (shut up!)
2 different dollar stores (within a 5 minute walk from eachother, is that really necessary?)
2 Rogers video locations (1 location seemed somewhat promising)
I went back to Farm Boy to give them my resume as I had only filled out an application last week. "So, allison, why would you like to work in produce?" "er...well, I realise that I would have to start earlier for this job, and I live right around the corner, so that wouldnt be a problem...and..my step dad used to work in produce, so after talking to him I became interested.....?" I mean, what do you say! You can't just go "I like plants!" although that was the first thing that came to mind. thankfully, i didnt let THAT brilliant comment slip.
I also applied to Hallmark and Reitmans even though they wont be hiring until much later on. Oh and Dairy Queen, which I REALLY dont want to do, but if it comes down to it..i might. LAST resort however.

I also contacted my previous co-worker from the Montessori school, she opened up her own Montessori school last year. She said that they have their summer staff, but if they need extra help she will definitely contact me. I'd love to work for Montessori school again, that was my most rewarding job by far. It was probably the most stressful, but it was worth it.
