I absolutely did not intend to make another fanmix, but then I fell in love with 00Q and that was that. I love the subtlety of the pairing-the way that almost everything important goes unsaid, shown rather through silence and caresses. Although I am hopelessly in love with Bond and Q’s witty banter and dry humor, I decided to focus mainly on a darker side of their relationship.
This mix is pretty experimental and contains many different styles of music, but everything points back to sex, violence, angst, and-ultimately-reconciliation and (just possibly) love. The story I had in mind was a gradual, simple seduction which is complicated by the development of feelings, to which both men respond to poorly. The end of the mix is considerably happier, involving the wordless acknowledgement and acceptance of said feelings.
