¬ I just got spoiled for DH, on . I've been avoiding it like the plague, but that community one just does not suspect. It's probably not even true, but still. I just don't want to search for hints for things I was tipped off about when I'm reading.

¬ I'm even getting used to the animals here. I'm sorry I didn't grow up with animals - now I'm just not as comfortable with them as others are. Touching is weird. We're the one feeding them these days, not Carmen. Her carelessness and irresponsibility sometimes amazes me - we tolerated the dirty, smelling (although through it all shone the beauty of it, because wow, the chalet, and the art, and the floor, and the rooms - it's gorgeous) chalet out of courtesy and because she's had trouble with her leg for years, so cleaning isn't easy for her - but my God, she has so many responsibilities, her two houses, her shop, her son, her pets, her guests - and she keeps failing.
¬ I ate jellyfish, because at first I thought they were potatoe rings, then I thought it was just fish, and then they told me what it was. So I didn't any more. Because someone's got to stick to their principles. (Somebody suggested yesterday that we go see a matador - I was so disgusted.) I do admit that they weren't bad.
¬ The mountains! The villages in the mountains. Calpe. Costa Blanca. The wild flowers along the highway. The fruit trees. Lemons. Playing cards late at night.
¬ Writing cards to
la_rainette and whoever else I think of/is interested, and reading OotP in Dutch for the first time.
