dies laughing* It's a post about incest by a Wincester (someone who slashes the Winchester brothers in Supernatural, for those who haven't had half their flist discovering the OMG SHINY NEW SERIES at the exact same time). She says that as long as it's two adults doing it by mutual concent, incest should be allowed, and that she hopes other Wincester agree. She points out the hypocrisy of slashers who don't support gay rights in RL, and how that's no different than incest-fans who think it's squicky in RL. Mutual consent etc.
Only a troll did
this to it. And OMG.
As another bystander said, I think this is the best sarcastic/clueless exchange I've read alllll year.
To which the anonymous said, I wasn't being sarcastic at all, actually. :)
Oh, alright. I know only few of you will actually click that link, so this is the original anonymous comment it's all about:
Wow. Hecate, I'm posting anonymously because although you've really inspired me to shrug off the shackles of convention, incest is still illegal where I live and my father is a deputy sherrif.
You see, for many years, I've had strong sexual feelings about my brother Todd. He's a beautiful, well-built boy. I'd see him in the summer, as I lurked in my bedroom, writing poetry about death, reading about paganism, playing whiffleball in our spacious backyard, his shirt off, knee socks pulled up, accentuating his fine, firm calves...
I've never felt that I could act on these feelings. Society told me that they were wrong, illegal, would lead to babies with flippers. Now I see just how wrong they were.
You've opened my mind in a big way. Thanks, Hecate. I'm going to take a chance, a big one, and drive to his house right now, tonight. He's three hundred miles away, but I think it's worth it.
Guilt-free (and maybe reproductive?!? who knows...) sexual bliss, here I come! I spent about an hour talking with
lavinialavenderon the phone last night. At three in the morning, yes. But it was nice.
And then I wanted to talk to Jas except her best friend has moved to France and she's gone to visit her for a week and sigh.
