Malcolm's Revenge
So... my inner Malcolm Merlyn... uh, we had a discussion, and he wanted me, God of Vengeance, to plot some revenge on Oliver.
This is what my subconscious department of Evil came up with...
Malcolm puts DD on to Oliver's secret son. DD, of course, does the inevitable sadist's choice of save your son vs save your city.
Oliver, of course, chooses the latter; the greater good and all that. (As Malcolm predicted.)
BUT!
DD doesn't kill William. William's mom gets killed, and then Oliver ends up with sole custody of this kid. Which he has to explain now to Felicity.
"Well, Felicity, since we're engaged and all, now you have to take care of my illegitimate 8 year old kid, whose mother has been murdered, so he's in a psychologically bad place, and his father is too busy running around at night fighting crime, and running the city as mayor during the day, to properly take care of him, so.... here!" :X
Aha, but there's more!
Okay, what will REALLY tick Oliver off, is if Malcolm keeps showing up and saving him from being killed. (Though not necessarily from getting beat up.) JUST so Oliver doesn't die, JUST so Malcolm can plot more torment for him.
I mean, can you imagine. Merlyn could be hanging out on a nearby rooftop. Watching a bunch of HIVE ghosts put the beat-down on the Green Arrow. Oh, here come some HIVE snipers on the other roof. P-chew, P-chew; they're dead. Wait... here come some more ghosts. Oliver can fight three or four, but this is getting to be too many. P-chew, P-chew!
Then Oliver beats up his four guys and looks around and is like... 'WTF? What's with all these dead guys with black arrows in them??'
