Fucking zombies, man.
He paused when he saw something moving ahead. Not like the creatures that attacked them during the supply run. This thing moved like a human. On closer inspection, it was human. At least visually. No one he knew, though.
"Hello?" He called to her, staying at a safe distance fro now. Just because she didn't look dangerous right off, didn't mean she wasn't. "You okay?"

Faith wasn't terribly happy about being somewhere that she didn't fall asleep at. It figures that something weird would happen. When was her life NOT weird?

"No idea. No one knows. I just woke up here a few days ago. Before that, I was in Tennessee."

She reached out and shook his hand. "Faith," she told him. "So what's the deal with this place, anyway?" A place that snatched her out of her bed. That seemed like lunacy, even for her life.

She was also hot, so he really didn't mind being distracted from his security rounds. "We've got some basic living quarters cabins. One big meeting hall, slash kitchen, slash whatever. There's a medical facility, a shower and washing facility, and a mail room down this way. At the other end of the camp, there's storage sheds, a motorpool, and an armory."

"Sounds like the army." Or prison. She knew that people didn't like to hear that she was formerly in prison, though. It made them judge. Sure, she deserved every last bit of it, but right now first impressions were important. "And everyone just ended up...showing up here like I did?"
