Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal Goes on the Hunt in Adult Swim Promo

Adult Swim has released a new promo for Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, and it delivers plenty of gore and prehistoric battle scenes.
The promo opens on Primal's caveman protagonist and his dinosaur friend as they hunt for a woolly mammoth, with the duo finding themselves in a bloody battle with the creature. Also featured in the video are some of the interesting creatures and characters our prehistoric duo will come across in their fight for survival.
Fans were given a glimpse into the show's dark tone in a teaser released at Comic-Con International in San Diego. The show will reportedly focus on the caveman featured in the promo as he tries to survive in the early days of human life. Primal will not feature any dialogue, opting instead to tell its story through action.
Primal was created by Genndy Tartakovsky, who is well-known for creating some of the most popular cartoons of the '90s and early 2000s, including Cow and Chicken, The Powerpuff Girls, 2 Stupid Dogs and Samurai Jack. Tartakovsky also directed the 2012 animated film Hotel Transylvania, as well as its two follow-ups.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal will premiere on Adult Swim on Monday, October 7 as part of a five night premiere event.
