Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Breaking Bad movie, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.
The short clip focuses on Skinny Pete, who is being questioned regarding the whereabouts of Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman.
Skinny Pete tells his questioners that he has no idea where he [Jesse] is. "North, south, west, east, Mexico, the moon, I don't have a clue," he says. "Even if I did, I wouldn't tell you." He goes on to say that after seeing the cage Jesse has been kept in, there's no way he'd help put him back in one.
News of a Breaking Bad television movie, picking up after the events of the 2013 series finale, first surfaced this past November. Filmed on location in New Mexico, the movie follows Jesse as he attempts to rebuild his life after escaping the drug dealers that kept him hostage for a year.
The synopsis reads, “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”
Written and directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie stars Aaron Paul. The film arrives on Netflix Oct. 11, with a later release scheduled for AMC.

The highly-anticipated film follow-up to AMC's Emmy-award winning series Breaking Bad finally has a release date and a title. El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is set to premiere on Netflix on October 11 and will release on AMC sometime after.
The final episode of Breaking Bad premiered on AMC back in 2013 and showed Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman escaping his captors and driving a Chevrolet El Camino towards an uncertain future.
Written and directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, the film focuses on Jesse Pinkman, the foul-mouthed partner of meth cook Walter White. There haven't been many details released about the film, though The New York Times reported a brief summary: "In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”
It hasn't been revealed whether any other Breaking Bad characters will appear in the film. Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk recently revealed that El Camino had finished filming, so it stands to reason that he might make an appearance. There have also been rumors that Bryan Cranston, Jesse Plemons and Krysten Ritter will also appear in the film.
The film's star, Aaron Paul, will also be appearing in the newest season of HBO's Westworld, as well as the Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told.
