After a two and a half hour series finale, LOST is finally over.
I won't post anything overtly spoilery, but it's taken me a good 15 minutes after the ending to just process what happened and what exactly it means and I'm pretty sure I "get it". There's potential for misinterpretation if you don't pay close enough attention to the dialogue, so that's incredibly crucial.
My eyes hurt a bit from crying, I must admit. I'm very satisfied though. Sure, it didn't perfectly answer ever single question about the Island, etc. I honestly didn't expect that because it would have been near impossible to do anyway. But it provided closure for the characters, and it was a beautifully moving and emotional goodbye... I still feel stunned by it.
5 minutes til the cast farewell show on Kimmel, which supposedly will include clips of different alternate endings. XD
Edit: lolol, Marilyn Manson was actually -in- the Kimmel studio audience! He was there to give Terry O'Quinn a print of his painting of Locke. :) The alternate ending clips they showed were just jokes though... should have expected that. xp
