Camping Trip With Sniper and Scout - Saturday
Who: Sniper, Scout and a bunch of children.
What: Camping Trip!
When: April 8th - 10th
Where: Mayfield Park.
Warnings: Someone may put an eye out. Also any new kids can wander into the park and join.
[Friday Night Sniper would wrangle in Scout to help him get the kid's tents set up. Letting the kids help but overall fixing problems if anyone wasn't able to manage. Like a good adult he got his own tent set up and after making sure they all went into their own tents he went to sleep.
The next morning Sniper would try to gather however many kids didn't run home. He'd make them breakfast, mainly bacon and eggs. He'd then get the other boxes out and address the children.]
Good morning everyone. Today you can see the targets are set back up but the lines are a bit further back. That is because today I have a special toy for you to practice with.
[He'd pull out a bb gun rifle!]
I have one for each of you as well as plenty of pellets. I won't just be giving you guns and letting you run off though. If you want to keep yours you have to at least show me you are willing to learn how to handle it without shooting out someone's eye by accident. No offense, I just wouldn't feel right about that.
So unless you have a question first, head over to a target and stand behind the line. Either Scout or I will come and bring you a rifle and show you how these things work.
[Anyone who made a bow got to keep them, along with the knife. Sniper had little bundles of arrows off to the side for people to take home after camp.]
((If any of your characters wants to do stuff at night with the other kids camping with you, feel free to post personal journal posts for that night/downtime. Sniper is not going to force kids to stay in their tents or really supervise them when they are not firing a gun or eating dinner. Sneaking out of your tent at night is far too easy.
