Can genius be forced? Or is creativity something that just occurs sporadically? Can person truly be creative for a living? How do you settle creative brilliance into a 9 to 5 job and make it occur. Surely forced creativity cannot be as enjoyable to experience as something that occurs out of natural instinct.
Creativity must be inspired. As must brilliance and this goes for all walks of life. A stylish and masterful century is a much greater sight than one scored off 400 balls when the only goal is to not get out. In rugby league, a piece of brilliant athleticism is so much greater than the ball being trundled forward. This piece of writing could be so much better were it not being churned out for the purpose of achievement. It is why small films sometimes are so greatly rewarded at awards shows as opposed to Hollywood blockbusters with multi-million dollar budgets. So i urge to let your creative juices flow when they may and evel in the delight of sporadic brilliance.
