it's official
i am the last closer left at my job. (ahhhhh!) i close wed-sun all the time. it was going to be just until carla was done her swing manager training, but we found out the other night that carla won't be coming back. she's going to be working at bloom/berwick. things kind of suck.
rose has been the other closer picking up the nights that i have off, but since her closes ALWAYS take like 2 hours when they should take less than one, melissa (the general manager) has decided to take rose off of closes completely and put her on the 11-7 shift so that she can still hit her 40 hour mark. what that means for me, not really sure other than more stress. and i also have no idea who will be closing the two nights i have off. i think they'd have me close all week if i didnt watch angies kids two nights a week. melissa already tried that. she was all "is there anyway you can possibly work mon and tues?" not unless she wants me to break my lease and have the kids running out in the street...no.
the real bitch of it is that we hired a bunch of people specifically to close, and every single one of them decided to change their availability to not work past ten. i think chris was the only one who actually worked a close before he changed his hours. everyone else was like "cool, i'm hired, about my hours..." bitches.
on the bright side, there will be some major hanging out with tabbers latter this week. i am stoked.
